Topic: An Excellent Life (4)

Text: Jeremiah 29:11

Jeremiah 29:11

” For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the LORD, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope.”

The Bible text assures us that God has a good plan for us. This means that by default, we are candidates destined for excellence. This assurance is necessary to give us peace in times when we are not sure of where our life is heading. God has a default plan of excellence for us which He has made known to us through the scriptures.

Furthermore, this assurance is particularly important for those who are currently going through challenging times and are possibly doubting their chances of success, God is saying, I am aware of your travails and I have guaranteed your success. This is in line with Jesus’ admonition John 16:33, these things I have spoken to you so that in Me you may have peace. In the world, you have tribulation, but take courage; I have overcome the world. God has plan for us – a good one. He is committed to seeing us succeed, that is why He has predetermined our success as we pass through life’s challenges.

In conclusion, the ultimate plan of God for us is to succeed and lead an excellent live. Therefore, all you need is in God, as He has a good plan for us. Go with God.
