Our Story
Christ Gospel Witnesses Church International was established in 1957 through the divine calling of Apostle Dele Sowemimo. What began as a small gathering of believers with a passion for truth and holiness has grown into a vibrant spiritual family rooted in prayer, power, and purity. For over six decades, our mission has remained unchanged—to raise disciples, uphold the Word of God, and proclaim Christ with signs following. Our journey continues, driven by the same fire that sparked it.
Our Vision Statement
At Christ Gospel Witnesses Church International, our vision is to raise a Spirit-filled, Word-rooted generation of believers who walk in holiness, operate in the gifts of the Spirit, and shine as light in a dark world. We are committed to fulfilling the Great Commission through discipleship, prayer, and a prophetic lifestyle—until the whole earth is filled with the knowledge of the glory of the Lord.

Our mission is to glorify God by making Christ known, raising and discipling believers who are sound in doctrine, empowered by the Holy Spirit, and devoted to a life of holiness, evangelism, and service through the local church.
